There is a wonderful man in Chicago named James Bond who is a projection
wizard, and a true friend of cinema. (Really. Also, it's his real name,
and he predates the character.)
He sells and installs good used as well as new projectors and sound
systems. He loves projecting nitrate, he loves projecting 70mm (he has a
70mm screening room in his loft), he helps out non-profits, and he also
rebuilds wonderful Eastman 25s, the finest 16mm projector made. He also
specializes in outdoor projection as well.
Normally I wouldn't plug someone so blatantly, but there are few people
like him.
